Umm …………… she says hommus is relatively low in fat; its not, it actually has a LOT of fat.
@loyalqueen no, it’s not, mines made from 100% peanut and nothing else, it’s a good source of protein also, i don’t lather my bread with it, just a little bit.
these are terrible ideas. all processed. processed cheese. processed turkey, and processed hommus. go make ur own hommus.
@SuperTeHn no good snack. peanut butter is terrible.
1 slice of toasted whole wheat brown bread with low fat peanut butter is a good snack and very filling.
@healthydarlene My new favorite snack is jerky, almonds, coconut flakes and dried fruit. It is Paleo friendly and a balanced snack of clean protein, nutrient dense carbohydrates and good fats.

quick and easy snack ideas:
ripe banana, apple, orange. you get the idea.
cheap simple, easy, tastes great, no preparation, no clean up.
btw, there’s plenty of protein per calorie in cucumber and humus (sun flower seeds)

Amazing snack! These are great snack ideas. OMG! a great way to prevent from using tortillas or chips for the hummus, and use cucumbers instead.

@paniclove120 but the skin is the best part!! It’s the part of the vegetable that has the most fibre and nutrients. Same goes for other fruit and vegetables- sweet potato, kiwi fruit, apple, etc. You should only ever cut it off if the skin has gone bad…
