Goal 3 – Exercise at least every other day.
It looks easy so far, but it is not. Sticking to your weight loss goals is key and it is difficult. If you mess up, keep on trucking and do not give up. Get into the habit of reviewing your goals every day.
Keep a list of things that motivates you to completing any of your weight loss goals. When you have achieved a goal each day, write down how it felt, how you achieved it, and how you will do it again.
Be creative with your weight loss goal setting. Have fun with it. Use some humour.
The most important thing to sticking to your goals, is understanding why you are trying to achieve them. Make sure your goal makes sense and is achievable.
Eating Healthier for Weight Loss
This one is a no brainer for losing weight and getting healthy. Eat veggies with every meal. Eat a fruit with every meal or every other meal. Eat protein whenever you stick something in your mouth.
Try to eat smaller portions. If you want to feel full, eat more veggies.
Treating yourself to a small treat four times per week probably will not hurt you too much. This does not mean you eat a whole ice cream container full of ice cream!
Exercising to Reach Your 10 Pounds of Weight Loss
Unlike what most believe, you can exercise every day. You may not want to lift weights every day targeting only one muscle. This would cause you to over use one muscle.
Find yourself a full body workout which uses lots of muscles. Something that will target everything. Do a search on google for 20 minute full body workouts. You will surely find something. Try to find something that will have you using some resistance.
Here is what you do…
Every day try to get 20-30 minutes of cardio such as jogging, aerobics classes or even walking. Every other day, try to complete your 20 minute full body workout.
There are no excuses why anyone cannot do this simple workout routine. Most people get home and watch TV for hours. So, why not exercise for a little instead.
So, if you want to lose 10 pounds in 10 weeks, you have the simple formula. It is very simple. You might be surprised and lose 20 pounds in 10 weeks. Wouldn’t that be nice!
