Weight loss is easy and hard all at once. The methods for losing weight is simple; eat right and exercise. As simple as it sounds, it is still very hard to accomplish for thousands of people.
All or nothing attitude
So many people are in such a hurry to lose weight they want to achieve everything all at once or do nothing at all. It is great that people are willing to do everything it takes to drop the weight, but, when are they ever going to start.
Most people keep putting it off, “I’ll wait until Monday before I start” or “I’ll wait for the New Year before I start that new exercise program”. People like to wait for everything to look just perfect before they start. The problem here is… nothing is perfect. If you just keep waiting to start your weight loss journey or putting it off, the journey will never begin.
Starvation
Many, lots, thousands of people like to try the next best fad weight loss diet. Those diets that claim you can lose ten pounds a week. The ones that claim you will look your best in no time flat.
Many of these weight loss diets are just that, designed to drop weight! So what is the problem if they are designed to drop weight, huh? The problem is the type of weight you are likely to lose. Your goal is to lose fat. With most of these diets that cut out tons of calories, tend to drop unwanted weight first.
We will not get to detailed but, starve your body and your body will try to hang onto that fat for a rainy day. Instead of burning the fat your body will eat up powerful fat burning MUSCLE tissue! Not only will you be shedding muscle but also water. The next time you get on the scale you may have dropped weight but not the fat.
The problem is that you will gain all this weight back, or even worse, gain twice as much back. Without much energy due to low, low calories and no fat melting muscle mass, what do you expect?
Diet pills are for lazy people
Yes you read that right!
If you are trying to drop weight by taking pills you are asking for trouble. For one, if you keep an eye on the media, lots of these so called diet pills are constantly pulled off of the shelves due to side effects!

Most people who use these pills try to never change any of their activity level. Wow, you may lose some weight but really, is it doing much good for your health? You should be concerned about your heart health. In most cases these weight loss pills are nothing but trouble for your heart. Then, if you sit on your lazy butt all day doing nothing and taking weight loss pills… double whammy!
Just like any other pill out there, if you use it all the time the effectiveness of the pill is dead. If, and I am not saying go out and take these pills, but if you are taking weight loss pills, try doing some exercise as well.

We all know where this gets you! We all have known for years that bad eating habits are not much good for weight loss.
Many people like to work their butts off at the gym and complain that they never lose weight. The thing is, these people did not change any of their eating habits. In fact, some eat even more crap because they think they can due to exercise! Smart eh?
Some people think they are eating just right because the commercial on TV or the info on the box at the store says the food they are eating is made of real fruit. Come on, use your head. Take a look at the label and you will notice that there was not very much real fruit as claimed. Sure, some foods advertised are good for you but watch yourself.
Take out every day is a sure fire way to not lose weight. It is so easy today to use the drive though window and eat whatever is on the menu and then some. Oh, don’t forget about the desserts!
